… maybe not enough for wine but theres plenty more lower down the vine… it would be wonderful if they all ripened… the purple ones taste nice already.

Oh dear – I am envious of your grapes. I pruned our vine because the leaves were shading the windows and the result was a disaster! Must read up on pruning time…..

Hi Jenni – I pruned (or rather hacked) back this vine the year before last almost down to the ground… and last year I was amazed to get ONE bunch of grapes – we had never had any before and the vine was here before we moved in – 11 years ago. So, I certainly didn’t expect to get any grapes this year – I am amazed… I’m going to be looking up how to prune it now! Cheers, Helen x
